How does the rank/style information work? What is the "ID Number"?

The ranks and styles were designed to be set up like the traditional Judo/Karate dan/kyu system. For instance, for a karate brown belt you might define it like this: Rank name: Ikkyu, Color: Brown, ID Number: -1. A sandan (3rd degree black belt) might be set up this way: Rank name: Sandan, Color: Black, ID Number: 3. Remember, when setting up your ranks you need to include a beginning (white belt) level!

I've just added a new member and they don't show up in the student list and they don't have access to anything. How do I fix this?

You need to promote them to the beginning level for the style(s) they are studying.

How do I promote someone?

Go to the member list and click the student you wish to promote. On the right hand side you will see their rank history and a "promote" link

I've entered a news item with a release date in the future. I need to see it again before it goes public, how do I find it?

Go to the "News Admin" administration page, it will list all of the stories regardless of date
