Welcome! BudoSoft is a unique software package designed around the specific needs of martial arts schools. BudoSoft provides a web application that will not only reach out to potential customers, but will also provide a valuable information resource for your students.

What BudoSoft is not:

• BudoSoft is not a classroom management package
• BudoSoft is not a financial or billing package (although we are working to integrate with PayPal subscriptions so you can easily bill your students)

What BudoSoft provides:

• BudoSoft provides a simple, usable and professional web page for your Martial Arts school. Our customers have reported that several new students have found their school from their web presence.
  • Includes a news page that allows you to post schedule changes, promotions, or anything else you care to post. The news page also provides an RSS feed.
  • Also included is an information page, useful for more static information - directions to your school, calendars of events, class schedule, etcetera.
  • A download page for pictures, videos, desktop wallpapers or anything else you care to provide
  • A list of teachers and students - Students can (at their option) include their self-written bio and promotion history as public information.
  • Random quote - you can configure your favorite quotes to be displayed on every page refresh
• BudoSoft allows you to easily manage the students and information within a school that teaches several different styles
  • All of the promotion tracking is done on a per style basis... so you may have a student who is a brown belt in Goju Ryu, but a green belt in Jiujitsu.
  • The news, information and download sections can all be have information posted that is for certain styles/ranks only. If you have a news post that is only for your Shotokan students ranked brown belt or above, BudoSoft only displays it to Shotokan students brown belt and above.
• BudoSoft has a very detailed member list system
  • It stores the height, weight, reach and other vital statistics for each school member
  • It keeps a record of their martial arts career, listing every promotion with it's date and certificate number
  • The member system allows you to make "teacher notes" - notes visible to the teachers but not to the students.
• BudoSoft provides a full featured information management system, geared specifically to Martial Arts.
  • This system allows you to document all of the techniques your school teaches, from the simplest punch to the most complex joint locks
  • Each technique is tracked according to the rank for which it's required and the rank at which it is introduced... students not studying the correct style, or students without sufficient experience will not have access to these techniques
  • Each technique can have not only a detailed description but also an unlimited number of attached files. You can attach pictures, videos, audio files, documents or any other supporting information for each individual technique.
• BudoSoft has a very thorough security system
  • Downloads that are configured to be private to school members will not be available to the public. Search engines will not find them, and even people with a direct link to the files will not be able to download them without having logged in.
  • Site administrators do not have the ability to promote or demote students
  • Likewise, teachers do not have the ability to administer the web site
• BudoSoft is a fully hosted application
  • Each customer has their own version of the software running
  • Each customer has their own database
  • Having this breakout enables customers to have their own custom software
  • DNS can be configured any way you want, either with your own domain name or with ours
